These silver coins (threepences, sixpences shillings and florins) were issued in South Africa between 1923 and 1950.
That date is important, because that is when the amount of silver in circulating silver coinage was reduced from 80.00% to 50.00%.
This bag weighs exactly 1 kilogram, which means 800g of pure silver is included - 25.7205 troy ounces.
