Greg McDonald Collecting & Investing In Australian Banknotes Hardcover Book

This is an important book for any collector of Australian coins & banknotes.
It's a shame that a lot of the best books on Australian coins and banknotes are no longer in print - it can be impossible for the novice collector to know that such books exist, then they have to be found.
This book is certainly one that any Australian collector should have - it has detailed information on each and every series within Australian numismatics, as well as a range of additional information that will help collectors and investors alike go about their business.
I don't believe that it's a definitive work in and of itself but I certainly do believe that it's one of the first 3 books that any serious collector of Australian coins`& notes should buy.
(McDonald's Pocket Guide is the first, Myatt & Hanley's book Australian Coins, Notes & Medals is second, probably equal to this one.)
A solid read of this book will give you an excellent overview of the Australian numismatic market, and answers a lot of questions that novice collectors always have. Not only that - this copy's in excellent nick.
