The signature combination on this note is proving to be incredibly hard to get.
The $20 is the fourth denomination to be released in the Next Generation Banknote series, it joins the $5, $10 and the $50 with revised designs.
The first Australian notes seen in circulation with the Lowe / Gaetjens signature combination were the NGB $20 notes also with the AA19 serial prefix, which were put into circulation from October 8th 2019.
Phillip Lowe began as Governor of the RBA from September 18th, 2016. John Fraser was appointed as the Secretary of the Commonwealth Treasury on January 15th 2015 and finished in that role on July 31st, 2018.
Based on the above dates, these notes were clearly printed in the period before July 31st, 2018. Statistics on the RBA website indicate around 8.5 million $20 notes with this signature combination were printed, as opposed to around 155.2 million with the Lowe / Gaetjens signature combination.
