1995 Deluxe Annually Dated NPA Note Set In Folders

Mintage: 6,000
This set includes one of the highly rare 1995-dated Fraser Evans $10 notes.
When polymer technology was introduced to Australia's circulating currency between 1988 and 1996, worldwide demand for Australian notes sky-rocketed. Note Printing Australia (NPA) introduced a range of collector products featuring the last of the old paper notes and the first of the new polymer notes, and these were hugely popular.
One of the most enduring products released by NPA between 1992 and 1999 was the annually dated sets - they included one of each of the polymer notes printed in the year of issue, were only ever issued in limited numbers, and was in fact the only product that was consistent over the entire 7 years.
The deluxe folders are popular with collectors that are interested in getting notes that have the serials with the same colour as those issued for circulation, while the premium sets are bought by collectors that want notes that are easily discernible and much more exclusive than those issued for circulation.
The 1995 Deluxe Annually Dated Set includes the hugely rare 1995 Fraser Evans $10 note - none were ever issued for circulation during 1995, so only 1,000 of them exist and the only way collectors can get them is by buying one of these folders.
Special Note - we can sometimes have more than one set available, so the images shown may not reflect the exact set on offer.
