This is a strong example of a scarce KGV ten bob note.
The Harrison series was on issue for the decade running between June 1923 and August 1933. Several different signatories appeared during this ten-year period, some of them were used for relatively short periods of time.
In addition to those different pairs of signatures, a number of changes were made to the way Australia's notes were printed during that decade.
Several changes were made to the format of the serial numbers, as well as to the signature type and the attribution of the note printer.
James Kell was the Governor of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia between October 10th 1926 and May 31st 1927.
James Collins was the Secretary to the Commonwealth Treasury between March 14th 1916 and August 2nd 1926.
Although this particular note circulated for a reasonable period of time, the paper quality remains quite firm, and it is entirely problem-free.
The edges are intact right the way around, and there are no pinholes or other impediments.
It is an honest example of this scarce signature combination.
