Fantastic surfaces all over.

Date collectors of sovereigns have always found early Young Heads to be elusive in mint state quality, this is particularly the case under the PCGS grading standard.

PCGS have graded just 7 examples of this date in MS62 condition or better - despite the relatively modest pricetag, sovereigns such as this really are incredibly scarce.

This particular example has a rich, rose-hued patina across both sides, and is sharp in all the right places.

It is a superb reminder of Australia's circulating coinage from the late 19th century, and is excellent value for money.
